What do “End of Sales” and “End of Support” mean ?


End of Sales (EoS): MagicINFO will no longer be sold after 31.12.2026.
Last chance for extensions: Additional licenses are available upon advance notice until 31.12.2027.
End of Support (EoST): Support runs until 31.12.2029.

Do I have to switch right now ?


No. Your existing installation can continue to run.
It makes sense to plan the switchover early so that you are not under time pressure shortly before 2029.
We are always available to provide support and answer any questions you may have.

Can I still expand my existing environment until 2027 ?


Yes, this should generally still be possible until 31.12.2027 (e.g., additional licenses for new screens).

What happens after 31.12.2029 ?


Support will end on that date. This means that you should have a follow-up solution in place beforehand so that
operations, security, and stability do not become a risk. Signethics will shut down the servers on 01.01.2030.

What alternatives or follow-up solutions are available ?


Depending on the circumstances, different solutions may be possible.
We will suggest options that suit your needs instead of locking you up to one solution.

Can I transfer content from MagicINFO ?


In most cases, yes - typically via structured content export/rebuilding (depending on content types, templates, workflows).
We will clarify with you directly what can be transferred 1:1 and what should be optimized.

How does the transition work without my screens going dark ?


If you wish, we can prepare the new solution completely for you (configuration, content, rights, device connection) and plan a fixed switchover date with you. On request, we can also train you on the new system in advance – so you'll be ready as soon as the new environment can go live at the agreed time. No unnecessary interruptions and optimal preparation, everything as it should be. 🙂

Do I have to buy new displays ?


In most cases, no. The goal is to reuse as much existing hardware as possible and as sensibly as possible.
Whether this works 100% depends on the display model, player, OS, and the desired features. We check this in the inventory check and/or in the PoC.

How can I be sure that the alternative is really suitable ?


We have already tested many options for you and can offer you the connection
solution that best suits your needs in order to keep your own effort to a minimum.

How can I avoid double work on content ?


First, we define which content types will remain, which should be modernized, and how templates/layouts will be built in
the future. This results in a clear migration plan that can be implemented in a structured manner and without surprises.

What does my IT department need to do ?


Usually, a brief consultation on the network/firewall, users/roles, and operating processes (e.g., who deploys content, who monitors devices).
We deliberately keep the effort involved to a minimum and ensure it is predictable.

How quickly can I make the switchover ?


Once the device inventory and target vision are clear, the switchover can usually be set up very quickly.
(Timing depends on the number of screens, locations, security requirements, and content complexity.)
