Currently embed signage supports Windows, MacOS, Android, iOS, Samsung Smart Signage Platform v2 - v6 , ChromeOS, LG WebOS, BrightSign and ONELAN, more platforms are planned in their product development roadmap.

Interactive touch layouts

Simple or complex interactive touch layouts can be created with the integrated layout builder. Add touch events to individual content elements, sections and pages and then select the touch action, e.g. "switch to another page", "show a hidden content area" or "pause/play a section playlist". Choose from a range of gestures such as tap, swipe up, swipe left, swipe right and swipe down. This makes it easy to set up interactive ordering systems in fast food restaurants, for example.

Widgets & Plugins

In addition to the standard widgets such as Twitter feed, YouTube streams or weather and traffic information, embed also offers exciting plugins such as stand-alone room booking systems (with Office 365 connection) or integration software for communication with external devices via RS232, TCP, UDP, GPIO or keyboards. The Dynamic Data plugin allows users to populate content with Excel/CSV, JSON, XML or Google Sheets, which is perfect for data-driven digital signage content.

Device and content analyses

Any device that has been assigned an analytics-enabled licence will automatically start tracking its online/offline status, which can help identify problematic devices or networks. Content analyses, also known as "proof of play", can be used to ensure that the content has been played a certain number of times in a certain period of time. This can be important for any advertising partners or to determine whether the content has influenced the actions of an audience.
